Welcome to Esther Seeger Sport Horses

Esther is a very experienced and well rounded horse-woman, who was born into an equestrian family in Great Britian.  Early on her riding talent was recognized at the finals of the prestigious Talent Spotting competition, earning her a top three finish throughout all of the UK.  A certified British Horse Society BHSAI instructor, Esther classically trained dressage in Nottuln Coesfeld, Germany.  Then her experience brought her to Holland to ride for Olympic show jumper Jan Tops at Stal Tops in Valkenswaard.  For three years Esther rode solely for Jan Tops on his international show jumpers, doing all the flat work dressage training and interval cross training including for the 1996 Olympics Games. Esther's riding influence made the jumpers more obedient, improved ride-ability, suppleness and responsiveness which is imperative for horses competing at this level.  Since 1997 Esther transplanted to the United States to run a dressage training business.  
Esther was then hired exclusively to train for Kate Capshaw and Steven Spielberg at Dogwood Hill in Brentwood CA, as a dressage rider and coach and to direct their daughters hunter jumper interests.  During this time Esther continued personal training and dressage competing with her coach Olympian Guenter Seidel.  Esther travels statewide throughout California as a clinician for the hunter jumper, eventer and dressage disciplines.
